The Maharishi University of Information Technology (MUIT) was established under the Act No. 31, 2001 of Uttar Pradesh Government. The main campus of the university is located at Sitapur Road, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The University is the best place for students to learn every aspect of engineering and technology. The University is the UGC.

Recognized University with jurisdiction spread over entire Uttar Pradesh. His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi was the first chancellor of the University. MUIT is included in the list of Universities, maintained by UGC under section 2 (f) of the UGC Act, 1956.

The Engineering Department (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Computer, Electronics Communication)  of the University is the most developed department of the University which helps the students to know their best ability to achieve Success in their life . At MUIT, we believe that the success of a teacher comes along with the achievements of a student. To ensure that our students succeed, we make sure that they get the best education, that’s why we are providing the most experienced faculties. According to the current era technology is the most innovative and important part of our life. The engineering technology education is gives a lot of opportunities for success in life.

Here we are using the innovative and technical ways of teaching. with the help of the smart classes and well equipped Labs.

We want to provide an undergraduate education that ensures our graduates can be creators – the artists if you will – of the scientific and quantitative spheres. They need to understand how the technology works so they can be effective as innovators. They also need “soft” skills, such as the ability to communicate their technical ideas and concepts and galvanize a wide array of people, including those without technological backgrounds and people from other cultures. Combine these skills with the ability to be life-long learners, and our graduates have the potential to make real impacts that can better our quality of life for generations to come.
